Brett Cassidy sounds like he was built on the road — a decade of touring across Western Canada, late-night rehearsal spaces, and packed bars distilled into songs that sit somewhere between classic country, traditional folk, and indie-psych rock. The Calgary-based multi-instrumentalist brings his authentic sound to Red Bird's patio on Thursday, August 20th, with support from Jaiden Riley opening the night. Guitar and banjo in hand, Cassidy's sound is lived-in, unpolished on purpose, and built for rooms where strangers end up friends by last call. Free entry, 8-10pm, no ticket required.

    Kelowna's own Dawson Gray is coming home. The country singer-songwriter who traded professional baseball for busking on the streets of downtown Kelowna has since racked up 8 million+ streams, sold-out headline shows across Canada, and shared stages with the likes of ERNEST, Dasha, and Jordan Davis. On August 29th, he brings that momentum to the Red Bird stage for one night only. Opening the night are The Redwood Twins, an identical twin duo fresh off a summer of festival stages across Canada, whose acoustic-to-electric live show sets the stage.     Cherry red lipstick, vintage neon, and a soundtrack that doesn't apologize for any of it. Backyard Sessions is turning Red Bird's patio into a retro roadside motel with a backyard blues club problem. Viral sensation KELS headlines, bringing the "dirty blues" sound that's landed her co-signs from Big Boi and Timbaland and a stage at the NBA Finals.     Vieux Farka Touré with Alpha Yaya Diallo (Past Event)

    On September 9th, Red Bird welcomes Vieux Farka Touré, the Malian guitar virtuoso known worldwide as "The Hendrix of the Sahara”, for a rare Okanagan performance. Son of the legendary Ali Farka Touré, Vieux has spent two decades carving his own path through desert blues, collaborating with the likes of Khruangbin, Dave Matthews, and Derek Trucks along the way. Opening the night is Guinea-born, Canada-based guitarist Alpha Yaya Diallo, whose fluid fretwork and rich West African roots have made him one of world music's hottest live acts. Expect blistering guitar work, an unmistakable charisma, and a room full of people who came for the music and stayed for the pizza and pints. Grab your ticket before this one sells out.
