Live music in Kelowna continues Thursday, September 10 as Elliott BROOD returns to the Okanagan for a special night of alt-country, folk rock, and raw storytelling at Red Bird Brewing. Joined by local favourite Dan Tait, this ticketed live music event runs from 8pm to 11pm and brings two deeply authentic Canadian songwriters to the stage for a night built around connection, atmosphere, and unforgettable songs.
Headlining the evening is Elliott BROOD, one of Canada’s most celebrated alt-country bands. Known for their gritty, fuzzed-out strings, stomping rhythms, and emotionally charged live performances, the trio has spent more than two decades carving out a sound entirely their own. Their music blends folk, roots rock, and country influences into something rugged, cinematic, and unmistakably Canadian.
Over the years, Elliott BROOD has shared stages with artists like Wilco, The Black Crowes, and The Sadies while earning major recognition including a JUNO Award and a Polaris Music Prize shortlist nomination. Their live shows are equal parts chaos and craftsmanship, balancing frenetic energy with deeply human storytelling.
