One backyard, a world of sound.
On Saturday, September 5th, our backyard is going global, with jewel tones, electric neon, and a disco ball catching the last light of summer. Think bold prints, international sound waves rolling through the crowd, and a dance floor that will be bumping all night long. Wear your brightest colours your boldest pattersn and anything you can move in, because this lineup is not built for standing still.
Delhi 2 Dublin
For two decades, Delhi 2 Dublin has been redefining what a dance floor sounds like. Founders Sanjay Seran and Ravi Binning built what they call “Subcontinental Pop,” a high-energy fusion of Bhangra, electronic, hip-hop, reggae and Celtic influences that has taken the band from underground bass parties in Vancouver to Glastonbury, Burning Man and Bali Spirit Festival.
In 2026 the band marked its 20th anniversary with new music, including their first single in over six years, and a coast-to-coast anniversary tour that lands them right here in the Okanagan. Expect hypnotic dhol and tabla rhythms, deep basslines and the soaring violin work of longtime member Serena Eades, all wrapped around the kind of grooves that critics have called ninety minutes of pure joy.
This is a band still writing new chapters, and Kelowna gets a front row seat.
Mivule
Mivule (pronounced mee-voo-lay) is an eight-piece Afro Reggae outfit out of Vancouver, blending roots reggae and Afrobeat with growing threads of jazz and funk.
Fronted by Brian Baroda, whose South Sudanese and Ugandan roots shape both the sound and the message, the band takes its name from the East African teak tree that once served as a village gathering place, a spot for storytelling, discussion and community justice.
That spirit runs straight through their live show: groove-heavy, purposeful and built to get a crowd moving together.
Tonight’s Forecast
Homegrown and heating up, Tonight’s Forecast brings their Kelowna made blend of acid jazz and funk to open the night. Familiar melodies get reshaped into something new through soulful grooves and wandering harmonies that shift like changing weather. Every set from this local favourite feels alive, building quiet intensity into full release and inviting the crowd to stay inside the groove until the air itself feels different.
Three acts, three continents of influence, one backyard. Round up your crew, get ready to get your groove on to some international beats. Grab your tickets now before this one sells out.
