Spring’s in full swing at Red Bird, and things are feeling lively in all the right ways. Fresh beers are pouring, new menu features are hitting the table, and the calendar is stacked with live music, events, and plenty of reasons to stick around for one more round. Whether you’re here for a quick pint, a full night out, or something in between, there’s a lot to get into this April.

The Ogopogo Pog Sour
This tropical fruited sour is inspired by the iconic “POG Juice,” a passion fruit, orange, and guava blend often described as the taste of paradise. Brewed with Canadian pilsner malt, wheat, and oats, and fermented with lactic acid producing bacteria alongside traditional yeast, it’s bright, juicy, and refreshingly tart. It pours a hazy, dusty pink with big tropical aromatics and a balanced mix of sweet and tangy flavours.
We’ve got a fresh lineup of cocktails ready for spring and summer, and there’s no better way to welcome the season than with our Lavender Floral Gin Fizz. Light, fragrant, and refreshing, it blends gin with St. Germain elderflower liqueur, lavender syrup, and lemon juice, topped with soda for a crisp, floral finish. It’s bright, easy sipping, and made for sunny days ahead.

Fresh Tacos, New Flavours
Tacos are back on the menu with fresh new flavours to dig into. The Cheesy Beef Tacos are rich and melty with ground beef, cheddar, and queso, while the Spiced Chicken Tacos keep things bright with pulled chicken, guacamole, cabbage, salsa, and pickled onions. Easy, flavour packed, and made for a cold drink.
Moontricks return to Red Bird Brewing for a must-see live show blending folk roots, blues grit, and electronic beats. Known for their immersive performances and global hit Home, the Kootenay-based duo creates dance-driven music that feels both organic and futuristic. Featuring special guests (TBA), this ticketed show is expected to sell out — grab tickets early.
Rebecca Sichon brings her soulful blend of R&B, jazz, and emotional storytelling to Red Bird Brewing, joined by Calgary-based artist Celin. Expect a night of powerful vocals, honest songwriting, and music that explores vulnerability, connection, and the human experience. An intimate, moving live show featuring two of Canada’s most compelling emerging voices.
Skinny Dyck brings his genre-bending, off-brand twang to Red Bird on April 9, joined by indie pop/rock band Rise Overrun. From WCMA-nominated songwriting to high-energy guitar hooks, this free live music night blends playful country textures with next-generation indie energy. Music runs 7–9pm.
Francis Baptiste brings powerful Indigenous storytelling and raw, emotionally driven songwriting to Red Bird Brewing on Saturday, April 11. Joined by live looping indie folk hip hop artist Jodie B, the night promises an unforgettable mix of roots, rock, and genre bending performance. Advance tickets are $15 online and $20 at the door for this special live music event in Kelowna.
Garret T. Willie brings his high-voltage blues-rock sound to Red Bird Brewing for a free live show. With gravelly vocals, blistering guitar solos, and songs rooted in legacy and raw emotion, this is an intimate night of blues-rock energy you won’t want to miss.
The Steadies bring their high-energy “island rock” sound to Red Bird Brewing on April 18, with Malusi opening the night.
