As the patio blankets come out and the leaves start turning, Red Bird is turning up the good times to match because we think cozy season still deserves a full roster of events. We’re kicking things off with Okto-BIRD-fest (yep, we went there), a fresh new seasonal brew, a stacked lineup of legendary music nights, and game nights that’ll have you forgetting what night of the week it is.

The Meadow Festbier
The Meadow is inspired by the classic Bavarian Lagers brewed for Oktoberfest in Southern Germany. This robust & flavourful lager pours a rich golden colour. It’s rich & malty, yet drinkable, with crisp lager character and floral German hops playing with malty notes of freshly baked pretzels. At 5.4% and only 25 IBUs it’s the perfect patio sipper for when the sun’s still out, but nice and cozy when there’s a chill in the air and the leaves are falling.

Jeff Piattelli Band (Past Event)
October 1, 7:00pm - 9:00pm PDT
On Thursday, October 1st, Jeff Piatelli, Kelowna's most booked musician, is bringing his signature live looping show to Red Bird Brewing, with his band to accompany him. Five years running as the Okanagan's busiest performer, a Gonzo Artist of the Year win, and a "Best of Kelowna" title or two under his belt, Jeff knows how to hold a room. Add in wood fired pizza, a pint from our ever-changing tap list, and a patio made for good conversation, and you've got a Thursday night that's hard to beat. Vancouver's Honeybear, the Band brings its vintage soul, blues, and roots sound to Red Bird Brewing on Saturday, October 3rd. Described as "The Teskey Brothers meets the ghost of Muddy Waters," this four-piece has racked up over 9 million streams, festival slots at Rifflandia and the Vancouver Jazz Festival, and a Blues Music Award nomination along the way. Kicking things off, indie pop artist Ayla Jean brings her high energy folk and country inspired sound, fresh off her Denim on the Diamond performance. He's seven feet tall. He sounds like a young Martin Sexton with a broken heart and a full tank of hope. His buddy trained in jazz, cut his teeth on Motown and Stax, and somehow turned all of it into acoustic Ska that grooves hard and rides easy. Together, Brent Tyler & Jory Kinjo are the kind of live show that sneaks up on you: two guitars, two voices, zero pretense, and a whole lot of soul.
