Blues-rock takes center stage at Red Bird Brewing on Friday, September 5th, with the powerhouse sound of The Harpoonist. Known to many as Shawn Hall of the acclaimed duo The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer, Hall has struck out on a bold new path. With fresh songs, swampy grooves, and raw edge, The Harpoonist delivers a gritty, dance-worthy mix that pushes the boundaries of blues and rock.


This new chapter features Hall on vocals, harmonica, and keys, collaborating with Gordie Johnson of Big Sugar as his partner-in-crime—bringing a tough, electrifying sound that’s as soulful as it is high-energy. The debut record, Did We Come Here to Dance, is already turning heads with tracks like “Good People,” proving this is music that moves both your feet and your spirit.


The night will kick off with a special guest supporting act (to be announced soon), setting the stage for an unforgettable evening of live music.
