Contestants (In order of wins):

Sparkle
Meet @sparkleduell, the winner of the inaugural KNDS in 2012 AND in 2014—the only drag queen to have won twice! Known for upbeat performances that demand attention, big blonde hair, and her fabulous cocktail-making (and drinking) skills, she is sure bring it to the stage this year and show these young’uns how it’s done!

Craven Moorehead
Up next, meet Craven Moorehead (@laughingpear), winner of KNDS 2013.
Craven Moorehead started doing drag as an excuse to hang out backstage with his friends and wear cool stuff. Drag gave him an excuse to learn new creative skills (sewing and makeup) and to be silly in front of strangers on a stage. Through the last 10 years of being a Drag King, Craven has learned and experienced so many ups and downs that would have never occurred without drag. The artist he is today is all thanks his forever muse, Craven.

Ginger Snapp
Meet the next contestant in Kelowna’s Next Drag Superstar: All Stars Edition: @queengingersnapp, the beauty and the beast who won KNDS in 2017!
Ginger Snapp is sass, beauty, and extravagance all wrapped up into one glorious package. She’s sweet with a bite & will leave you wanting more.

Ari Hola L’Amour
Next up, we present: @ari.hol! Ari was born in 2018 and raised in Kelowna, BC, by her single mother @kaskakween. Times were different then, so after a few months of nurturing, motherly love, Ella kicked her to the curb.

Ari went on to win Kelowna’s Next Drag Superstar before embarking on her next adventure in the north. Ari has been performing in Iqaluit, NU ever since and has been a big promoter of queer safe spaces in the territory. Move aside Elsa, because after 5 years away, Ari is coming back to show the rest of the girls in Kelowna who’s the true Ice Queen of the north.

Valerie Rose
Say hello to the one and only, the gorgeous @valerie.x.rose 🌹 Since winning Kelowna’s Next Drag Superstar in 2019, she has fully bloomed and spread her seed far and wide within the Okanagan. You best be leaf she brings a whole garden full of surprises, from high energy performances, crude humor, and stunts that’ll pollenate all over the floor. She’s always ready to strip down to her dainty little peonies and be the thorniest bitch in the garden. This bouquet of roses is ready to add another crown to her bouquet!

Khalora Form
Make way for Kelowna’s PREMIER autistic, epileptic, indigenous, transgender Crowned Clown, @khaloraform! After winning in 2020, Khalora has been the reigning queen of Kelowna for the past 3 years.
Since winning KNDS, Khalora became a full time drag artist, working at the Friends of Dorothy lounge multiple times a week. She’s super excited to return for another round of competition, and you can bet she’s going to fight to keep the crown on her head
