Indie stories, alternative edges, and late-night introspection.

Satoshi Yano is a Kelowna-based indie/alternative artist whose music feels like a poetic stream of inner dialogue set to sound. With a captivating stage presence and a deeply authentic delivery, Satoshi invites listeners into his world through thoughtful lyricism and atmospheric production. Drawing subtle influence from artists like Mac Miller, Allan Rayman, and Wiley From Atlanta, his sound blends introspection with an eclectic, modern edge. Currently deep in the studio, Satoshi is working toward the release of his debut EP My Mixed Feelings Mixtape, slated for January 2026.

MSTRBSTRD

Opening the night is MSTRBSTRD (pronounced Master Bastard), the project of Kelowna musician Shaedan Hawse. For this performance, MSTRBSTRD leans into indie-folk and country influences, offering a set rooted in storytelling while maintaining a distinct alternative feel. Inspired by artists like Bon Iver, Dougie Poole, and Father John Misty, Shaedan’s songs balance grit and vulnerability, nostalgia and freshness — creating a sound that feels both grounded and exploratory.
Together, these two artists showcase different sides of Kelowna’s indie music landscape, making this a laid-back, intimate night of live music that’s free to enjoy and easy to sink into.
