Get ready for a night of feel-good indie rock as Sad Tom & The Noodles take over the stage at Red Bird Brewing. Known for blending relatable storytelling with high-energy melodies, the band creates music that’s inviting, expressive, and impossible not to move to — all while keeping a sense of humour at the heart of it.
Fronted by Tom Knoll on vocals, Sad Tom & The Noodles fuse indie, modern, and alt-rock into a groovin’ sound that leans into both big emotions and small, everyday moments. With Caleb Howes on guitar, Rob Larkin on drums, Shiloh Taetz on bass, and Robin Depres on keys, their live show is full, dynamic, and unapologetically fun. Originally coined “Sad Tom” for its introspective songwriting, the band embraced “The Noodles” as a playful counterbalance — a reminder to feel deeply, but never take life (or yourself) too seriously.

Opening the night is Kelowna-based folk-rock duo 70×7. Formed in 2016, Jared and Owen have grown together as musicians, crafting an energetic yet intimate sound built on heartfelt lyrics, rich acoustic textures, and tight musicianship. Drawing inspiration from bands like Mumford & Sons, Bon Iver, and NEEDTOBREATHE, 70×7 sets the tone with songs that feel honest, warm, and deeply connected.
From catchy hooks to crowd-swaying moments, this is a night built for singing along, letting loose, and soaking in the best of Kelowna’s live music scene.
