Red Bird’s outdoor stage lights up once again for Local Love Saturday, the second installment of our weekend-long celebration of homegrown talent. We’re packing the patio with 7 incredible acts—ranging from Afro-Caribbean jazz collectives and indie-folk storytellers to funk-infused jazz fusion and high-energy DJ sets. This is the ultimate day-to-night experience, where community, creativity, and killer music collide.

🎵 Artist Lineup:
4:30–5:00PM – Kinfolk Nation
More than a band—Kinfolk Nation is a movement. This collective blends Afro-Caribbean roots with new-age jazz, weaving dream-spaces and rhythms that move both body and spirit. Expect soul-stirring grooves and radical love.
5:10–5:40PM – Michael S.E.
With 20+ years of stage experience, Michael S.E. delivers heartfelt originals and fan-favourite covers with a raw energy that lands somewhere between Ed Sheeran and Dave Matthews. Lyrically rich and emotionally resonant.
5:50–6:20PM – Bex Trio
A tender force of nature, Bex channels indie-folk elegance with genre-bending freedom. Joined by her trio, she brings power, intimacy, and depth to every word and note.
6:30–7:00PM – Dusty + Ty
This duo met in a student garage and now light up stages with rich harmonies and heartfelt songwriting. With folk-rock roots and authentic storytelling, Dusty + Ty are refreshingly down-to-earth and deeply moving.
7:20–8:05PM – Devon Coyote Trio
Roots, rock, and blues collide in this powerhouse reunion show. Devon Coyote returns with his signature trio after a 4-year break—expect raw energy, masterful musicianship, and a damn good time.
8:25–9:10PM – Tonight’s Forecast
Forecast calls for funk. This jazz-funk quintet brings acid jazz, hip hop, and groove to the forefront with improvisational fire. Think Thundercat meets Jamiroquai—with a Kelowna twist.
9:30–10:45PM – Mr. M
When class is in session with Mr. M, everyone dances. Expect a genre-melding DJ set that blends house, hip hop, funk, and bass-heavy bangers for a closing set you’ll feel in your bones.
