Soulful grooves and modern R&B with a throwback feel

Live music in Kelowna continues Thursday, May 21 as Crashlanders bring their signature blend of soul and R&B to the outdoor stage at Red Bird Brewing. Music runs from 8pm to 10pm for a free live music night filled with smooth grooves, rich melodies, and laid-back patio energy.

Crashlanders is made up of Gustave Savignac on vocals and guitar, Jake O’Brien on keys, Tommy Trottier on drums, and Laurent Jarry on bass. Originally from the Okanagan, the project began as a one-time release and performance but quickly grew into something much bigger.

Now based in Montreal, the band has built a reputation for their captivating live shows and distinctive sound. Drawing inspiration from 70s legends like Marvin Gaye while incorporating modern R&B influences, Crashlanders creates music that feels both nostalgic and fresh.

Their sound blends soulful vocals, tight rhythms, and dynamic instrumentation into performances that are smooth, energetic, and easy to settle into. Whether you are a fan of classic soul or modern R&B, Crashlanders delivers a live experience that connects across generations.

Set on Red Bird Brewing’s outdoor stage, this free concert pairs live music with craft beer, wood-fired pizza, and a relaxed evening atmosphere in Kelowna’s North End.

Music starts at 8pm. No cover.
