Live music in Kelowna continues Thursday, May 14 as Carly Reirson brings her soulful folk sound to the Red Bird Brewing outdoor stage, joined by local artist Danaii. Music runs from 8pm to 10pm for a free live music night filled with powerful vocals, intimate songwriting, and a relaxed patio atmosphere.


Carly Reirson is a multiple award-winning Canadian soul-folk artist known for her soaring melodies and deeply honest lyrics. With a voice that feels both timeless and deeply personal, Reirson creates music that explores love, loss, and the complexities of the human experience.


Her latest album, Diary of a Beating Heart, produced by Juno Award-winning producer Murray Pulver, offers a raw and vulnerable look into her inner world. Held together by her soulful tone and emotional delivery, the album captures both the beauty and pain of real life with striking authenticity.


Reirson first gained national recognition with her debut EP Fantasy, earning nominations for Blues Recording of the Year and Female Artist of the Year at the Calgary Music Awards. She has continued to build momentum with award-winning singles including “Crooner Sing To Me” and “Aurora,” showcasing her ability to move seamlessly between blues and folk influences.

Danaii

Opening the evening is Danaii, a Kelowna-based singer-songwriter whose music is inspired by the connection between nature and human emotion. Drawing influence from the delicate details of plant life and the natural world, Danaii creates soft, melodic songs that invite listeners to slow down and tune into the present moment. Her gentle approach and thoughtful songwriting make her a perfect complement to the evening’s lineup.
