Live music in Kelowna continues Friday, July 17 as Absolute Losers bring their high-energy indie rock sound to the outdoor stage at Red Bird Brewing. Music runs from 8pm to 10pm for a free summer concert under the Okanagan sky.
Hailing from Charlottetown, PEI, Absolute Losers are quickly cementing themselves as one of Atlantic Canada’s most exciting new rock acts. The power trio, made up of brothers Sam and Josh Langille alongside longtime friend Daniel Hartinger, deliver a sound rooted in sharp songwriting, tight musicianship, and an undeniable live energy.
Their latest release, In The Crowd (2025), showcases a band confidently pushing their sound forward. Blending Merseybeat-inspired melodies, jangly guitar tones, and a touch of gritty pub rock, the album feels both classic and distinctly their own. It has earned acclaim from outlets like Exclaim, Range, and Cups n’ Cakes, with multiple tracks landing on the CBC Music Top 20.
The momentum has carried the band across Canada and beyond, including their first shows in the UK and Europe, along with support slots for artists like Daniel Romano’s Outfit, Sam Roberts Band, and Holy Fuck.
