West Coast indie rockers Current Swell are bringing their feel-good energy back to Kelowna!
Known for their soulful songwriting, powerful live performances, and timeless melodies, this six-piece band from Victoria has captured fans around the globe—and now they’re making a much-anticipated stop at Red Bird Brewing.
Fresh off the release of their brand-new EP Peacekeeper, produced by Gus Van Go (Arkells, Metric, The Beaches), Current Swell are set to deliver a night of vibrant, infectious music under the Okanagan summer skies. Expect big singalongs, soaring brass sections, and all the good vibes that have made them festival favourites across North America, Europe, Brazil, and Australia.
With fan-favourite tracks like “Comin’ Home,” “Young and Able,” and “Long Time Ago” in their arsenal—plus brand new songs ready to be played live for the first time—this is shaping up to be one of the standout nights of the summer.
The night will also feature two outstanding local supporting acts: Kailee Duggan and Andrew Judah.
Okanagan-based singer-songwriter Kailee Duggan will open the evening with her warm, soulful folk sound. Inspired by artists like Norah Jones and The Beatles, Kailee’s heartfelt songs and easygoing charm make her a natural storyteller on stage. She’ll be joined by a powerhouse band featuring D’Arcy Booth on bass, Dylan Ranney on drums, and Andrew Judah on electric guitar for a full band set that’s sure to impress.
Andrew Judah, a celebrated multi-instrumentalist, producer, and performer, will also take the stage with his unique blend of intricate arrangements and genre-bending indie sounds. Known for pushing sonic boundaries, Andrew’s live set promises to bring something refreshingly original to the night.
