On Saturday, October 17th, Red Bird Brewing welcomes Freeze The Fall to our stage for a night of thunderous riffs, soul-baring vocals, and the kind of live energy that reminds you why you fell in love with live music in the first place. With direct support from Felisha and the Jazz Rejects and opening act Codebreaker, this is shaping up to be one of the heaviest, most genre-defying lineups we’ve hosted all year.

Freeze The Fall
Hailing from the heart of Western Canada’s music scene, Freeze The Fall brings a fresh blend of nostalgia and innovation to every stage they touch. Led by Quinn (19) on vocals and guitar, Aria (17) on bass and backup vocals, and Jonah (18) on drums, this trio proves that age is no measure of musicianship. Inspired by bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Evanescence, Spiritbox, Architects, and Paramore, Freeze The Fall writes songs that dig into the messy, complicated business of being human. Expect emotive vocals, thunderous bass lines, and blistering riffs that pay homage to ’90s grunge while pushing modern rock and metal somewhere new entirely.

Felisha and The Jazz Rejects

Felisha and the Jazz Rejects is an electric three piece rock band out of Vancouver, BC, formed in May 2022 by lead singer Felisha Rolin. The members first crossed paths in 2019 through the Jazz Studios program at Capilano University, and that rigorous musical training became the foundation for a sound that refuses to sit still.

Blending jazz, rock anthems, dance driven pop, Latin and funk grooves, metal, and a touch of classical drama, their live shows are sharp, explosive, and wildly unpredictable. Onstage, Felisha delivers raw, soul-baring vocals while the Jazz Rejects lock in with tight grooves, soaring solos, and crushing breakdowns behind her. With over 85 shows under their belt, a debut EP called Queen of Misfit Toys, and four singles released, this is a band built on connection.

They feed off the room, and they leave audiences wanting more.

Codebreaker

Fast, heavy alt-rock straight out of Kelowna, BC. Codebreaker builds their sound on driving tempos, heavy guitar riffs, and melodic, high-energy hooks, delivering raw rock and roll for the unrefined.

Drawing from the weight of ’90s grunge, punk, and underground hard rock, this local outfit pairs driving low-end grooves with aggressive walls of guitar and sharp, hook-driven attitude. No corporate polish, no backing tracks, just a heavy, locked-in live set built entirely on weight, momentum, and volume. It’s the perfect way to kick off a night that only gets bigger from there.
