On Thursday, October 8th, Red Bird Brewing welcomes Brent Tyler and his band to our stage for an evening of soulful, folk rock inspired tunes that pair perfectly with a wood fired pizza and one of our house brews.
Described as a “seven foot paradox,” Brent Tyler’s intricate guitar work and elastic vocal range stand in striking contrast to his imposing football frame. His voice carries a booming foundation while remaining dynamically delicate and sincere, striking a rare balance between honest, introspective folk rock and soulful, memorable hooks born from childhood dreams and contemporary crushes. Tyler’s songwriting is lyrically textured with real life: honesty and love, hope and healing all wrapped into a sound that has earned him the title of Western Canadian giant.
