On Thursday, October 1st from 7 to 9pm, Red Bird Brewing welcomes Jeff Piattelli Band to our stage for a free night of live music.

Using real time looping, Jeff builds layered, genre-hopping covers and reworked favourites live in front of you, guitar line by guitar line, harmony by harmony. His voice is the kind that stops conversations mid-sentence (in a good way), and his guitar work is technical without ever feeling showy. He takes the songs you already love and makes them unmistakably his own.

Jeff isn’t new to this. He’s been the most booked musician in the Okanagan Valley for five consecutive years, regularly clocking over 225 performances annually, which says as much about his stamina as it does his popularity. He’s taken home “Best of Kelowna” top musician honours multiple times and won the Gonzo Award for Artist of the Year. Beyond his stage appearances, Jeff has spent over a decade hosting open mic nights across Kelowna, building a genuine community of local musicians and regulars who show up week after week. He’s also a multi instrumental utility player who’s just as comfortable behind a drum kit or on bass as he is fronting a show on guitar.

For this show, he’ll be performing with the full Jeff Piattelli Band. Their performance is a different experience entirely, filling the room with a bigger, fuller sound and the kind of energy that only comes from a band that knows how to play off each other.
