Funk Rock Heats Up the Red Bird Patio

Goldsauce is bringing the funk to Red Bird Brewing on Saturday, August 8th with a captivating, free live performance.

Goldsauce is a high-energy funk rock trio hailing from right here in the Okanagan. Made up of Darcy Scott on drums, Rhys Boardman on bass, and Josh Loewen on guitar and vocals, this three-piece band deals in heavy grooves, deep pockets, and playful, exploratory jams built to keep a crowd locked in from the first note to the last. Fresh off their fiery new EP “Too Hot,” the band is already cooking up some new material and this Red Bird show will feature brand new songs making their live debut. With past gigs alongside BC heavyweights like Uncle Strut, The Boom Booms, and Brass Camel, Goldsauce has earned a reputation for bringing the heat wherever they go. Opening the night is Thorne, bringing Chilliwack’s finest classic rock to the stage. This four-piece band has former Dealers Choice singer Ben Thorne as the front man, delivering the ultimate Rock N’ Roll entertainment. Expect excitement, serious musicianship, and all the heart and soul you could imagine from one of BC’s most inspired performers.
