Sludge-pop, loud guitars, and a Saturday night built to move
Free live music returns to the Red Bird Brewing outdoor stage on Saturday, May 30 with Vancouver sludge-pop trio The Vidos performing two live sets starting at 8pm.
Known for their energetic live shows and fuzzed-out blend of rock, pop, and punk attitude, The Vidos have spent the last decade carving out their own lane in the Canadian music scene. What started as a middle school Craigslist ad eventually turned into a touring band that has shared stages with acts like Big Wreck, Headstones, Five Alarm Funk, The Pack A.D., Default, and Daniel Wesley.
Fresh off a Western Canadian headline tour supporting their breakout single “The ICU,” the band arrives in Kelowna riding serious momentum. Their debut LP Right in the Kisser! introduced audiences to their punchy, riff-heavy sound, while their latest EP Gimme Some Sugar, Babe! continues to lean into the gritty hooks and chaotic charm that have made them a crowd favourite.
The Vidos bring the kind of live energy that fits perfectly on a summer patio stage. Loud guitars, catchy hooks, and a band that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Expect a fun night, a packed patio, and two full sets of high-energy live music.
Pair that with craft beer, wood-fired pizza, and one of Kelowna’s best outdoor live music spaces, and you’ve got your Saturday night sorted.
No cover. Music starts at 8pm.
