If funky-folk had a romantic fling with jazzy-soul NICO would be the musical love child. He has been writing, performing and recording since puberty and playing all kinds of venues from the streets of Europe, to festivals, pubs, universities and everything in between. After playing and recording all around the US of A with a band, he relocated back to Kelowna, BC and loves to combine his original music with smooth old tunes from the 70s that will make you want to shake what yer mama gave ya.

Lowell Friesen

A little folk, a little punk, a little country, Post-Country Punk Balladeer Lowell Friesen’s unique interpretation of modern folk music springs from a universe of influences. Raised on country and gospel, growing up with punk and metal, experiments with spoken word and electronic, and aging into traditional folk and Indie-Rock one thing that has remained constant is his love of musical expression. Primarily a singer-songwriter Lowell crafts songs close to the heart, vulnerable and honest, sometimes brazen. A sense of humour always persists. With 6 recording projects under his belt and years of touring experience, Lowell is excited to be back, post covid hiatus with a new 4 song EP (Cup Of Sevens) in hand.
