There’s something special about nights when music feels like a story shared among friends—and that’s exactly what’s in store when Lighthouse Rd. and Michael Averill take the stage at Red Bird Brewing on Thursday, December 11th. Music runs from 7–9pm, and admission is free.


Lighthouse Rd. is a country/folk band born out of lifelong friendship and countless late-night jam sessions. Made up of Wesley (lead vocals, guitar), Eric (piano, backup vocals), and Brandon (drums), the trio brings together folk authenticity, bluesy soul, country grit, and rock energy. Inspired by artists like The Lumineers, Mt. Joy, and Zach Bryan, their sound is heartfelt and hopeful—crafted to make listeners feel seen, grounded, and connected, like a lighthouse guiding the way.


Opening the night is Michael Averill, a seasoned performer, songwriter, and storyteller who has spent over two decades sharing music across four continents—including a 4,000-mile walking tour across Canada. With his blend of finger-style folk, bluesy slide guitar, and philosophical lyricism, Michael delivers songs that are equal parts playful and profound. His performances feel like a conversation, rich with warmth, humor, and human insight.
