The Cal Volpe Trio—Cal (guitar & vocals), Dan (bass), and Nate (drums)—was born out of countless late-night jam sessions in Kelowna, where their chemistry was instant and undeniable. The three locked in effortlessly on funky hip-hop grooves, extended blues jams, and iconic rock-and-roll moments that shaped their signature sound.


Dan and Nate now play a major role in Cal’s original recordings and live performances, bringing depth, drive, and a fresh pulse to every arrangement. The trio blends Cal’s genre-blurring songwriting with dynamic musicianship, delivering original tunes and classic covers pulled from across decades and styles.
