Event Size & Buyout Options
- Large Group Booking (50-100 guests): Reserved seating or a designated area while Red Bird remains open to the public.
- Partial (Indoor only) Buyout (100-136 guests): Exclusive use of the indoor taproom; outdoor areas may remain open to the public.
- Full Venue Buyout (250-400 guests): Exclusive use of the full Red Bird property.
Our venue is generally not well suited for events with 136 to 249 guests. Groups of this size often exceed the comfortable capacity of an indoor buyout, while not fully utilizing the space and minimum spend requirements of a full venue buyout. For smaller private events, consider our sister brewery, Vice & Virtue Brewing, located just across the street. For more casual gatherings, you may also wish to make a regular reservation rather than booking a private event.
Important Booking Information
Minimum Spend
Minimum spend requirements vary based on factors such as the date and time of your event, projected venue revenue, staffing needs, event requirements, and whether a full or partial venue buyout is requested. Any applicable minimum spend will be provided before your booking is confirmed.
Availability
Private buyouts are subject to availability and can only be accommodated when no conflicting events are scheduled. Red Bird Brewing hosts a busy calendar of public events throughout the year, including live music, Crib tournaments, line dancing, Latin dancing, burlesque shows, gaming tournaments, and other community events. Monday evenings are typically reserved for Crib tournaments, while Thursday and Saturday evenings are generally dedicated to live music performances. We have the greatest flexibility for private buyouts on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays, as well as during daytime hours throughout the week. We recommend reviewing our upcoming events calendar before submitting your inquiry to help determine whether your preferred date is likely to be available.
Food & Beverages
All food and beverage service must be provided through Red Bird Brewing. We can work with you to create a food menu based on your group size, budget and preferences.
Entertainment
Outside DJs, bands, or other live entertainment may be permitted with prior approval and for full venue buyouts only. Approved performances require a Red Bird sound technician to oversee setup and monitor the venue’s sound system. Applicable technician fees and entertainment-related costs are additional. Private event bookings may not be used to host independently promoted concerts, ticketed performances, or other third-party ticketed events.
Any exceptions to these policies may be considered on a case-by-case basis at Red Bird Brewing’s discretion.
