A little bit Bavarian. A whole lotta Red Bird.
Dust off the lederhosen because Okto-BIRD-fest is taking over Red Bird on Saturday, October 3! We’re putting our own spin on Oktoberfest with German-inspired eats, music, games, costumes, plenty of Kölsch, and an afternoon of fall fun in the backyard.
For our Red Bird twist on the celebration, we’ll be serving Kölsch Cologne-style in traditional 200 mL Stangen, carried on a Kranz. Your $10 ticket includes three 200 mL pours of Kölsch. We’ll be firing up traditional German sausages on a bun with classic toppings, as well as serving fresh backed German pretzels with beer cheese & dijon. A DJ will be spinning from 12pm–4am, with lawn games, a selfie booth, and face painting for the kids happening throughout the afternoon.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Okto-BIRD-fest without dressing the part. Break out your lederhosen, dirndls, and best Bavarian-inspired attire for our Best Dressed Contest. A few standout festival-goers will walk away with prizes including Red Bird gift cards, merch, and free concert tickets, so don’t be afraid to go all in.
Okto-BIRD-fest runs from 11am–4pm and is an all-ages celebration, so round up your crew and come spend a fall Saturday in the backyard. Tickets are $10 and include three 200 mL pours of Kölsch served in traditional Stangen. Prost!
